Hollis - No Limit - Strength & Comfort for Drysuits

Hollis BTR-500 Drysuits
Scuba diving...adventure in the Water World. Some of us may only dive in tropical
warm water with wetsuits, but some of us are hard-core diver enough to enjoy cold water diving with drysuits. 4C degree water temperature may sound very cold, but if you are equipped & prepared for it, cold water diving can be quite fun. In UK, usually water is clearer in winter. It can be much better diving than in summer, in fact.

Drysuits will become crucial for cold water diving. Let me introduce some Hollis Drysuits here. Hollis Drysuits in UK, unfortunately, did not have great start. Quality of the suits was not quite there and many suits had leaks after a few dives. Customer service was very poor just because of their internal problems. UK distributor and Hollis main office did not have good communication and relationship for years...That was such a shame for Hollis products were known as superior Technical Diving equipment in the rest of the world.

AUG450 Undersuits

Fortunately, all those problems were solved in recent years. Drysuits is no longer manufactured in old factories. New factory is known with highest skills in the industry. Thank you to Huish Outdoor, the new owner of the brand. This move was great improvement for the quality of the Hollis Drysuits as well as the service. 5-year warranty for workmanship shows their pride and the quality for their suits.

Let's take a look at BTR500. BTR-500 drysuits use their latest Butyl Trilaminate Ripstop material to produce a lightweight but durable suits. Everything from the material to the taping has been fine-tuned and optimized to make the BTR-500 an absolute pleasure to dive in, whether you are at 10m or 100m. In old Hollis suits, they always had problem with the taping. Such problems don't exist any more. Hollis is now offering clearance sale price. Please take a look at our website. This deal is something you may not want to miss. RRP£1139 is now £890 for suits only. With AUG450 undersuits set, it is £999.95 instead of RRP£1350.

I personally like DX-300X drysuits. It's the benchmark expedition-grade drysuits with

superior strength & comfort. Outer Layer is a heavy duty Nylon Cordura which offers superior puncture and abrasion resistance with incredible tear strength in excess of 300N. Middle Butyl Mass in constructed of 12 layers to provide long-term water integrity with superb chemical & ozone resistance. Inner Liner is a silk weave polyester offering the optimum in comfort and softness with easy donning and doffing. It's also fitted with SiTech quick cuff wrists and SiTech Neck Tite system which allow you to change seals by yourself. These systems are quite expensive when you want to install to your suits. Coming with them already is such a great bonus.

For me, flexibility and durability is very important when I choose my drysuits. Neoprene drysuits can offer you warmth but you have to compensate the flexibility unfortunately. I can always choose better undersuits to gain warmth or even a heated vest. Having pockets for both side is also another factor I like to keep. One for my spare mask, one for my SMB/Spool for safety, but everyone has own priority, so my options is not the only one, of course.

Oh! Most important feature for my own drysuits. It MUST BE PINK! :D :D So, in other words, I cannot choose these Hollis Drysuits for myself unfortunately... Great quality, but wrong colour for me. :D :D

Please stay safe, everyone. We'll be back in water soon!!

Diving is FUN!!
